Among these, sealed lead-acid batteries (SLA/VRLA) are the main emergency energy reservoirs. But the strategic point is that more than 70 percent of these batteries' premature losses stem not from the quality of the cells themselves but from non-standard charging methods, overvoltage and the destructive phenomenon of sulphation. One of our flagship projects in power electronics is the localisation and mass production of industrial chargers for sealed lead-acid (SLA) batteries. SLA batteries, widely used in uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, need smart, multi-stage chargers to preserve their lifespan.
